The Young Persons Coachcard is cheaper than a railcard, easy to buy, has no off-peak restrictions – which means you can travel anytime you want! The government have withdrawn funding for the Concessionary Fares Scheme, but a new way of discount travelling for disabled and senior travellers has been introduced by National Express. On 1st November 2011, National Express launched a Senior coachcard coach card to allow continuous savings. Over 60's and disabled customers have access to a discount coachcard that will cost £10 for a year, which will allow them to gain 1/3 off travel across the UK on standard adult fares.
