Binic is a beautiful fishing port on the rugged Brittany coastline, where cod plays a major part in the local economy and is celebrated annually. The annual Fête de la Morue is not to be missed. Jousting, knights in combat, tournaments, music, dance and medieval-style spectacles attract thousands to the city.
July – Locronan. Every year. Petite Troménie. The Petite Troménie in Locronan is one of the oldest pardons (religious days) in Brittany. Pilgrims in costume, carrying gold brocaded, silk banners and singing Breton songs, begin a procession from Locronan church, marching through the Locronanaise countryside to a sacred forest clearing, Le Nemeton.
July – Quimper. Every year. Festival de Cornouaille. The Festival de Cornouaille is Brittany's biggest celebration of Breton culture.
