June 2010 - It seems the promise of a new cross channel route may have been misplaced. Although Euroferries have a website, little, apart from repeated new start dates, which do not come about, seems to be happening. We welcome new operators, but do have our doubts about the way Euroferries is going about starting up.
E.g. November 26th 2009 - PRESS RELEASE. Euroferries confirm positive news
It’s full steam ahead for Euroferries even though the November start date has been delayed. Positive news on booking enquiries confirms Euroferries belief that the Ramsgate Boulogne channel crossing will be a welcome addition to current services for those wanting a fast, efficient and cost effective service.
including free travel insurance and pre-boarding lounge facilities with tax free shopping and café add to the special experience promised to a Euroferries traveler.
Website bookings are being taken now for 2010 and new launch dates will be published as soon as possible.

November 11th 2009 - Whoops! Another delay and no delayed start date announced. We gather that the problems are not related to Euroferries who "have covered all their contractual obligations". The local Council have said "We are saddened to hear of this delay to the start of the service. We have been working closely with Euroferries and will continue to do so to bring this new service to fruition. Plans to receive this service at the Port of Ramsgate are in place and the port will be ready for the vessel on its start date." But when is that Ramsgate Council?
Sounds like a nitty gritty contractual dispute, lets hope they all get it sorted soon.
October 2009 - Euroferries have announced a start date on 14th November and are taking bookings. There are four daily crossings. Free travel insurance is offered to customers who purchase Euroferries tickets online for trips returning within 8 days.
EUROFERRIES recently announced fast ferry services will operate from its two dedicated ferry terminals located within the ports of Boulogne and Ramsgate and have now signed agreements with both Ports.
The fast ferry the "Bonanza Express" will be operated by Euroferries in conjunction with its partner, FRED OLSEN who over the years has developed its highly regarded fast ferry service. EUROFERRIES initial service, commencing mid November 2009 will comprise of 5 daily crossings, with Bonanza Express an Incat 96m with a capacity of 146 first class and 570 additional passengers, carrying a combination of cars and luxury coaches. Capable of an operational speed of 38 knots it enables the channel crossing to be completed in a time that favourably competes port to port with the Channel Tunnel crossing time.
