Norfolkline introduced a brand new pricing structure and range of booking options for its Rosyth - Zeebrugge route, for all journeys, in 2010. The new booking system offers customers an extended range of travel options and variable pricing.
By replacing its original set fare table, Norfolkline is adopting a more flexible system of pricing, similar to that commonly used by airlines and hotels. Best available prices will be quoted based on the individual requirements selected, with earlier bookings now able to benefit from cheaper deals.
Cabin rates will also be changing. From 2010 onwards, fares will be based on two adults sharing, as opposed to four, with additional passengers added individually via an adult or child supplement.
Prices for 2010 start from: foot passenger and Pullman seat - £44 single; car and Pullman seat - £107 single; cabin and two adult foot passengers - £156 single; cabin, car and two adults - £216 single, subject to availability.
This company always has lots of offers available. Do check their "fares and offers" page. Also check the ferry offers shown at the bottom of this page which are updated regularly.
Norfolkline have proved to be the trend setting cross channel company with simpler fare structures and cheap fares. However there are charges for paying with a credit card and a fuel surcharge as well. Overall however, good value on the newest ships of any operator.
July 2010 - Norfolkline now officially part of the DFDS Ferry group.
December 2009 - Norfolkline bought by DFDS Ferries. www.kentonline.co.uk

Norse Merchant FerriesNorse Merchant Ferries was created in October 1999 when Cenargo, the owners of Merchant Ferries purchased Norse Irish Ferries. The companies operated separately until February 2001 when Norse Merchant Ferries was officially launched. Norse Merchant Ferries operated the following routes across the Irish Sea; Liverpool (Canada Dock) - Dublin / Liverpool (Brocklebank Dock) - Belfast / Heysham - Dublin (Freight only) / Heysham - Belfast (Freight only). Cenargo filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code[1]. The shipping subsidiaries of Cenargo emerged from administration in December 2003 as Norse Merchant Group aquired by Maersk and integrated into Norfolkline. Source; www.wikipedia.org |
