In the centre of Calais, opposite Monoprix a new shopping centre opened in February 2006. With parking and a Carrefour Market Supermarket it is a good place to stop off, especially if you want to visit the many restaurants in this area.

The information desk is open from 10.00am till 8.00pm.
Parking; 2 1/2 hours free. Thereafter 1 euro per hour. Open from 7.00am to 9.00pm.
CREDIT CARDS - we suggest you ring your credit card company before shopping in France - increased fraud means they are turning down shoppers cards if their spending deviates from the norm. Take your mobile - you can often sort the problem out over the phone.

About Les 4 BoulevardsA new modern shopping mall, Les 4 Boulevards should attract British visitors visiting Calais. Conveniently situated in the centre of town, close to the Theatre and Monoprix, it has a Carrefour Market supermarket, and about 50 shops. With many restaurants nearby, it is a convenient place to shop for day trippers. Officially opened 28th February 2006, by the SODEC group which "wants to breath new life into city centres and city limits, by developing tailor made urban commercial development projects." |
DirectionsFrom the Tunnel From Eurotunnel follow the signs for Cité Europe, turn right at the first roundabout (Calais), and then left at the next one. Once you have passed under the A16 autoroute, turn right at the roundabout (about 1/2 mile) and then continue until the one way system around the Theatre. Follow the signs for Centre Ville. Les 4 Boulevards is on the rights hand side about 100 metres from the Theatre. From the Ferries We are easy to get to from the Ferry. From the ferry port follow the signs for Calais Centre. Head north past the railway station and we are on the left just before the Theatre (opposite the Monoprix Supermarket, and IBIS hotel). |
