If you are looking for a concise list of ski companies & agencies to do with skiing - a list of names which we have collected for your convenience from numerous newspapers, magazines and surfing the net, this is the page for you. We have phoned around to get their web page addresses for you.

Anyone driving to the Alps will find our Ski autoroute Hotels page useful. We found it almost impossible to get a list of budget hotels with links when researching for this page. However after much work (and driving around) we have a page full of useful links. We strongly advise you to plan your route and book a hotel before you go.

Rail Europe / Eurostar - the weekly direct train service to Aimé la Plagne, Albertville, Bourg-St-Maurice, Chambéry and Moutiers runs from late December until early April. You have two options; Eurostar, via Lille or Paris connects you to overnight trains from Calais or Paris, and TGV's from Lille or Paris, or take the ferry to Calais and board the train from there.

Foreign Office warning - too few skiers have proper insurance. They note that most ski resorts only have private health facilities which are NOT covered by the European Health Insurance Card (old E111).
