June 2010 - Sainsbury's is barely open it seems, with most of the store closed off and a very limited range available. We hear there may be some discounting after the 15th June. All in all a very sorry state of affairs. Let's hope the staff are being treated better.
May 2010 - We understand this store will now officially close 30th June 2010.
March 2010 - Sainsbury Calais is to close in June. Apparently sales are 73% down on eight years ago. A loss, especially since in recent times they have been offering good value wines.
Sainsbury's use to be a good place to shop as you could use your Sainsbury's Reward card. They had an on-line pre-booking service is no longer operating though.
